How to get to the hotel upon arrival in Istanbul?

By taxi or Uber

•  From Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) to ITU Maçka Hotel (approximately 1 hour)
•  From Istanbul Airport (IST) to ITU Maçka Hotel (approximately 45 minutes)

By public transportation :

• From Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) to ITU Maçka Hotel (approximately 2 hours)

  • Head to the airport’s M4 Metro Station.
  • Take the M4 Metro and get off at Ayrılık Çeşmesi. (Fig - 1.1)
  • Exit the metro and head to Marmaray Ayrılık Çeşmesi Station, located across the road. (Fig - 1.2)
  • Take the Marmaray train in the Halkalı direction.
  • Get off at Yenikapı Station.
  • Inside the same station, follow the signs to the M2 Metro turnstiles.
  • Take the M2 Metro and get off at Osmanbey Station.
  • From there, either:
    • walk to the nearest bus stop and take the 30A bus and get off at Maçka Stop, or (Fig - 1.3)
    • walk directly to the hotel. (Fig - 1.4)

•  From Istanbul Airport (IST) to ITU Maçka Hotel (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes)

• • Head to the airport’s M11 Metro Station.
  • Take the M11 Metro and get off at the last stop, Gayrettepe Station. (Fig – 2.1)
  • Follow the signs for the M2 Metro (Yenikapı–Hacıosman) through the Gayrettepe underpass.
  • Take the M2 Metro in the direction of Yenikapı and get off at Osmanbey Station.
  • From there, either:
    • walk to the nearest bus stop, take the 30A bus, and get off at Maçka Stop, or (Fig – 2.2)
    • walk directly to the hotel. (Fig – 2.3)
